Peacock The Office Mockumercials
Unlike Netflix, Peacock had commercials. Not a great selling point for Office super fans who were already mad they had to subscribe to another streaming service.
So we used commercial breaks during the Office to give those fans something exclusively for them—commercials for businesses only in The Office universe. All of which were made in the same spirit as the Office itself, as grounded and real as possible.
Vance Refrigeration: a local Scranton HVAC company operating out of the same business park as Dunder Mifflin.
Princess Unicorn: a Barbie-like doll that Dwight hoards then sells at an extreme markup during The Moroccan Christmas episode.
Serenity by Jan: a candle company started by Jan Levinson, heavily featured in the fan favorite Dinner Party episode. You might recognize the song. It’s by Jan’s favorite musician.
